Vision: Create public parks and civic spaces which serve to bring the community together and which provide meeting places for people in our neighborhood to celebrate and to share experiences in art, recreation, education, and other activities.
Parks:
- Chergovsky Park - a tree-filled park offers a totlot playground and a picnic area at the foot of Seymour Ave and the pedestrian bridge over I-94..
- Luxton Park - A community and recreation center with outdoor soccer and softball flelds, basketball courts, wading pool, and indoor gymnasium and meeting rooms.
- River Gorge Park - The east-bank Mississippi River flats stretch from the University of Minnesota to the St. Paul border.
- Slovak Park - This "pocket park" features a spring water tap adjacent to West River Pkwy and SE Ontario St.
- Tower Hill Park (Prospect Park) - Features the Witch's Hat Water Tower and Tennis Courts.
